Understanding the PSAT

Keep in mind that the “P” in PSAT stands for “preliminary” not “predictive.” The PSAT is best used as a diagnostic to help juniors pinpoint test-taking strengths and weaknesses and prepare for future testing. Here’s how to get the most from the PSAT score report.
